Azita Ghanizada Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actor in the United States has appeared in several television series. She was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. Her parents fled to the US and were given asylum. Her family raised her with sisters who resided and two sisters in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada made her debut on television by appearing in numerous National Commercials. Ghanizada was portrayed by Chiara in Laura Neri's production A Kiss on the Nose (2003). For this performance, she received a nomination in the festival's Cannes Film Festival, for the Best Actress Award. A few of her TV roles are How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. Recently, Ghanizada played in the independent comedy You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009 as well as the action-science film Blood Shot. Ghanizada began her career in 2008, when she joined the crew of The General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. In the second season of Nightshift, she played holistic doctor the Dr. Saira Bastra. Ghanizada starred as Kelly as an actress on Prada Sales Girl on HBO Entourage during 2009, and was also cast in the pilot television Tough Trade by Weeds creator Jenji Kohn and the executive producer T Bone Burnett.
